Every Friday night, pickers of all levels and from throughout the Tri-Cities and Southwest Virginia descend upon Allen Hicks Friday Night Jams, a converted basement garage at 1844 Bethel Road. This is a spot to hear some great music, meet wonderful folks and, when concessions are open, grab the best peach cobbler in the world, made the old-fashioned way in an iron skillet. Make sure to top it off with vanilla ice cream. Allen Hicks is an affiliate-member of The Crooked Road.
